I'm currently wasting time waiting for the Eurostar. Here's what I've wasted my time on.






Obviously they picked me up way too early this morn.

London in pictures - Day 3 - Tower of London, London Eye and Parliament Square

Tower of London. This is definitely a treat to see. around since the 12th century.


Walking through bloody tower. This is where the two princes were killed by their uncle. Talk about a dysfunctional family!


Tower bridge. Built to keep out the riffraff.

London in pictures - Day 1

Here are a few pictures from my first day in London.





Victoria & Albert museum - the courtyard. The sign said "no puddling." I'm assuming that means jumping in the water.











Wooden sculpture. Dude killed dragon and is now just chilling with it. The detail is incredible on this piece.





The beat down. I think this is what UFC was 500 years ago.





Teeny, tiny Hasidic Jewish crown. Would fit nicely in your hand.





Beatrix Potter watercolor. An entire hall was dedicated to "Peter Rabbit." Each page is framed and displayed in a line so you can read the book.





English paintings. Look at the huge one on the right. Someone really loved that dog!





Concert and theatre posters. Loved the Sex Pistols one.





Yep, that is a Juicy Couture outfit. So sophisticated.





Royal Albert Hall at night. Got a double decker bus in there too.






Albert Memorial at night. Queen Victoria really loved her Albert! The whole area seems to be named after him.

Oh sunny day

Brrrrr, it’s been quite cold in the “peg” lately. Bone-chilling cold. This city gets so frigid in the winter that it becomes easier to hibernate at home than venture outside. But today was not that day. It was beautiful. The sun was out, the sky was blue and the snow was sparkling beneath it all.

The best thing about a day like today is the air feels and smells so clean. It’s refreshing and it makes your cheeks nice and rosy. I love that feeling. It felt great to get outside and walk around. I’ve missed doing that lately. Hopefully this weather holds up for a few more days of enjoyment before it drops back down to nasty and hibernation season begins again.
